Damian M. Sammons concentrates his Education practice at the Comegno Law Group in matters of Litigation, Professional Liability, Employment Liability, Products & Construction Defect claims, Insurance Coverage and General Education.

In addition to his practice of law, Damian works as a United States Air Force Academy Admissions Liaison Officer and regularly visits schools and school districts in the Philadelphia region where he coordinates with Region 1 school officials in targeting and selecting the best student candidates for the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

A veteran trial attorney, Damian began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia under the administration of Lynne Abraham. As a prosecutor, he litigated hundreds of preliminary hearings and criminal trials and attained convictions against enumerable individuals in both the Municipal Court and the Court of Common Pleas. After leaving the District Attorney’s office and subsequently working for small civil defense litigation firms, Mr. Sammons began a criminal defense practice where he fought vigorously for the rights of Pennsylvania and New Jersey citizens. Damian’s criminal defense cases have been cited in the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Philadelphia Daily News and the Washington Post in matters where he repeatedly achieved success for his clients.

Damian graduated from the University of Texas at Austin (B.A., Plan II Honors, 2000) and Rutgers School of Law - Newark (J.D., 2003). In law school, Damian was a member of the Moot Court Board and Managing Notes & Comments Editor of the Rutgers Race & the Law Review. Damian is admitted and licensed in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Outside of the practice of law, Damian Sammons is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, a Representative to the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania Free & Accepted Masons and volunteers his time with the Friends of Mount Moriah Cemetery cleanup.
