Jamie Zaum graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Temple University Beasley School of Law, where she served as the Lead Research Editor of the Temple International & Comparative Law Journal. Her note, entitled “Responsibility to Protect: Moral Triumph or Gateway to Allowing Powerful States to Invade Weaker States in Violation of the U.N. Charter?” was published in the Temple International & Comparative Law Journal’s Fall 2012 edition. In her final year of law school, Jamie worked as a certified legal intern for the Temple University Elderly Law Practice Clinic and the Mazzoni Center in Philadelphia. Prior to law school, Jamie graduated Cum Laude from Rutgers University with a degree in economics.

After law school, Jamie served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Superior Court of New Jersey for the Honorable Carol E. Higbee, J.A.D. She first served as Judge Higbee’s law clerk in the Civil Division where Judge Higbee was assigned to the mass tort docket and served as the Presiding Civil Judge for Atlantic County. She then served as Judge Higbee’s law clerk in the Appellate Division after Judge Higbee was elevated to the Appellate Division. Following her clerkship, Jamie worked at a firm in Philadelphia, where her practice primarily involved products liability and insurance defense litigation.

Jamie is a member of the bars of the State of New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

In her spare time, Jamie volunteers as a scuba diver for the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, New Jersey and as a pro bono attorney for the Support Center for Child Advocates in Philadelphia.

Jamie concentrates her practice in estate planning/administration, family law, and real estate.
