Jeffrey R. Caccese concentrates his practice on labor and employment law representing and counseling both public sector and private clients. Jeff’s practice also includes serving as counsel to governmental entities, including boards of educations and municipalities.

In addition to his public and private section representation of clients, Jeff has extensive litigation experience representing clients in state court and federal court in various employment matters, including claims under the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, the Conscientious Employee Protection Act, ERISA, USERRA, Section 1983 of the Civil Rights Act, and Title VII. Jeff also represents clients before administrative courts and agencies related to employee discipline and tenure hearings, PERC and NLRB unfair labor practice charges, and New Jersey Civil Service appeals. He also has significant experience representing clients in arbitrations, negotiating collective bargaining agreements, and grievance processing. He has experience in construction defect and products liability matters as well.

Jeff began his legal career with the State of New Jersey as a Deputy Attorney General. As a Deputy Attorney General, Jeff represented various state agencies in both State and Federal courts litigating various employment matters. In addition, he represented the New Jersey Insurance Fraud Prosecutor prosecuting civil cases under the New Jersey Insurance Fraud Prevention Act.

After working as a Deputy Attorney General, Jeff continued his employment litigation practice in a southern New Jersey law firm where he also represented public and private sector clients in negotiating collective bargaining agreements, grievance arbitrations, interest arbitrations, and administrative hearings.

Jeff attended law school at Rutgers School of Law-Camden where he earned his Juris Doctor degree with Honors and was a member of the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion. Prior to attending law school, Jeff received his undergraduate degree in History from LaSalle University. While at LaSalle, he was a member of the Men’s Baseball team.

Jeff is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Additionally, he is admitted the United States District Court of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Judicial Circuit.

Jeff lives in Cinnaminson with his wife and four children. He is active in his community where he has been a Member of the Cinnaminson Township Planning Board, the Cinnaminson Township Zoning Board, a member of the Cinnaminson Baseball Board of Directors as well as a Member of the Board and Executive Committee of the San Miguel School in Camden, NJ. aseball Board of Directors.
