R. Taylor Ruilova concentrates his practice in the representation of public and private/independent schools, disabled individuals, and other members of the educational community. In addition to his general education law practice, Taylor has provided in-service trainings on a variety of school law topics, including special education, QSAC compliance, residency, and pupil discipline.

Taylor also has experience with Corporate matters, including the formation and structuring of general business and 501(c)(3) non-profit entities, formation and structuring of entities, preparation of corporate documents and regulatory filings, and the management of general corporate governance matters. In addition, Taylor has worked on Land Use matters, including obtaining site plan and subdivision approvals for properties in redevelopment zones. He also has experience with Probate practice, including guardianship matters and the preparation of general wills and estate documents.

Taylor is a member of the bars of the State of New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining the firm, Taylor served as law clerk to the Honorable Ronald E. Bookbinder, then Presiding Judge of New Jersey Superior Court, Chancery Division, now Assignment Judge of Burlington County.

Taylor graduated from Washington & Lee University with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish. After graduation and before entering law school, he worked for several years at a litigation law firm in center-city Philadelphia.

Taylor received his Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers University School of Law - Camden. As the Marketing Editor of the Rutgers Journal of Law and Urban Policy, Taylor authored a published note entitled “Camden 2015”, analyzing condemnation power and urban redevelopment. At Rutgers, Taylor also served as President of the Student Bar Association. While in law school, Taylor worked in the in-house legal department of an international pharmaceutical corporation and as an intern for the Honorable Francis J. Orlando, Jr., Assignment Judge of the New Jersey Superior Court Camden Vicinage.

Taylor is a member of the American Bar Association, the Camden County Bar Association and the Burlington County Bar Association, where he is a member of several committees, including General Equity and Probate. Taylor serves on the Board of Trustees for the non-profit Court Appointed Special Adocates (CASA) of Camden County and is in charge of its largest fundraiser and annual CASA of Camden County Golf Tournament. He also served as Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees for the First United Methodist Church in Moorestown.
