A certified public school teacher, Monica V. Sabnis earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Special Education from the University of Maryland, and earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Villanova University School of Law. At Villanova, Monica was the recipient of the Dorothy Day Service Award and interned at the Maryland Coalition for Inclusive Education. She also co-authored Is Brown the Father of Special Education Law – Or a Distant Relative?
During law school Monica worked at the Maryland Coalition of Inclusive Education. Following graduation, Monica clerked for the Baltimore City District Court. Monica is a member of the bars of the State of New Jersey, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of Maryland, and concentrates her practice in school law. Monica is a member of the New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland Bar Associations. She is also an active member of the Cure Autism Now Foundation and of the Board of Directors for Autism Family Services of New Jersey.
