NASP Keynote Address Presented by Mark Toscano

On July 24, 2013, Mark G. Toscano, Esq. provided the keynote address for the National Association of School Psychologists’ Annual Summer Convention, which was held in Albany, New York from July 22, 2013 through July 24, 2013. 

The presentation, entitled “Trials and Tribulation of School Psychologists:  A Legal and Practical Perspective on How to Stay Compliant,” focused on helping participants in developing, creating and implementing smart and effective IEPs and Section 504 Accommodation Plans for students, as well as providing practical guidance and suggestions on how to delivery special education services and handle difficult issues and situations. 

Approximately two hundred school psychologists from all across the United States and several foreign countries were in attendance.  This was second keynote address that Mr. Toscano was invited to provide for the National Association of School Psychologists.
